The CEDI (Common Electronic Data Interchange) provides a single electronic front end solution for all DME MAC suppliers. CEDI will work closely with DME MAC software vendors, billing services, clearinghouses, and trading partners (electronic submitters) on all electronic front end needs. Once implemented, all DME MAC electronic claims (ANSI and NCPDP) and 276 transactions will be collected by CEDI. CEDI will also return all DME MAC electronic front end reports, remittance advices and the 277 response transaction.
NOTE: CEDI does not handle Claim Status Inquiry (CSI) or Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT). DME MAC suppliers must contact the appropriate DME MAC Jurisdiction for CSI and EFT information.
This Web site is dedicated to National Government Services' CEDI information.
