Gateway Transition – Reduction of Capacity for Current National Government Services CEDI Gateway Dial-up Users CEDI Trading Partners may begin to experience a busy signal when attempting to connect to the CEDI Gateway using a direct dial-up connection option. The capacity for direct dial-up connection options to the CEDI Gateway will be reduced again on Sunday, March 27, 2011. The reduction is due to the Network Service Vendor migration project, which mandates that all providers who currently utilize dial-up and Point-to-Point Protocol (PPP) File Transfer Protocol (FTP) must switch to a Network Service Vendor (NSV) for their secured connection.
