Network Service Vendor Information
All Trading Partners connecting to the CEDI SFTP Gateway must use a Network Service Vendor to exchange any of the following Medicare Durable Medical Equipment transactions – X12 837P claims, NCPDP claims, X12 276/277 Claim Status Request/Claim Status Response, X12 835 Electronic Remittance Advice, and the associated response transactions and reports.

CEDI Claims Portal
The CEDI Claims Portal (CCP) provides options to submit Medicare Durable Medical Equipment (DME) claims electronically and receive the associated response transactions and reports either using a direct claim entry option without purchasing DME claim submission software or a File Submission option using an approved software vendor as well as download the X12 835 electronic remittance advice (ERA) without the use of a Network Service Vendor (NSV).

Internet Gateway Information
CEDI also offers the CEDI Internet Gateway supporting the CAQH CORE Phase I, II and III Operating Rules for batch 276/277 and 835 transactions per the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) Change Request (CR) 9358. It provides an internet connection with CEDI to submit X12 276 Claim Status Request files and retrieve X12 835 Electronic Remittance Advice (ERA) and 277 Claim Status Responses without the use of a Network Service Vendor (NSV).
